2016-17 World ARC - 10NM from finish!

by World Cruising on 8 Apr 2017
Marigot Bay - 2016-17 World ARC World Cruising Club
The 15 yachts of the World ARC fleet are now all together in Marigot Bay for the last 10NM of the Rally taking them up to Rodney Bay marina where it all started for 12 of them completing their circumnavigation and for three of them being the point of their half circumnavigation. The fleet will be leaving tomorrow morning at 1000 LT from Marigot Bay for the parade of sail entering Castries Harbour and crossing the line in Rodney Bay around 1240.

Before that the participants enjoyed the facilities in Marigot Bay going at the beautiful pool of Capella Hotel, and had a good dinner last night organised by World Cruising Club at Chateau Maygo.

They also celebrated the wedding anniversary of John and Stella on Exocet Stike on the dock at sunset, another good opportunity to spend a good time all together again before the end of World ARC tomorrow.

The boats are now all getting ready for the final parade of sail having their World ARC and code flags up but also being washed and polished.
