Hurrica V - Queen of the Classics is for sale

Hurrica V' is a magnificent example of Australian yachting history kept in impeccable condition. Designed by Charles Nicholson of the famed C&N design house, she was born in the glamour of the Edwardian era of March 1924. Her elegant hull has graceful lines now rarely drawn - a long continuous keel with a well-proportioned form - and is the founding of a capable and sea-kindly yacht that is now easy to sail thanks to modern systems.
While respecting her history and past, Hurrica V has been restored without any expense or nook of the boat spared by premier yacht builders Norman R Wrights & Sons of Brisbane to be sailed again with carefully concealed and flawlessly incorporated systems and subtle modern amenities for practical living on deck and below. Attention to detail in this restoration has been taken to very highest levels, and the result is a structure, systems and finish that is equal to the very best.
So beautiful, and of such stature that Hurrica V was chosen for the recent Great Gatsby film where she shone like the true star she is. Amazing used in the 2nd world war as a gunship too. Such a wonderful thing...
You can be the next, lucky custodian of Hurrica V. She is now for sale at AU$1,850,000.00.
