Kyle Langford at only 29 years of age has become one of Australia's most experienced sailors. His resume includes two America's Cup campaigns, the 2017-2018 Volvo Ocean Race aboard Team Brunel and an RC44 World Championship win.

Kyle was sailing aboard Comanche in the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race and so we took the opportunity to talk to him in Hobart about the recent changes to Comanche that allowed her to remain in close touch with Wild Oats XI and Black Jack in weather that clearly favoured the latter two boats.

While he says he has no current plans for the next America's Cup, Kyle's current focus is Sail GP in Sydney in February aboard the Australia Sail GP boat; he spoke to us with great enthusiasm about the event and what an ideal venue Sydney will be for the first round of this international circuit.
