Horizon Yachts to debut new E81 model at FLIBS

by Horizon Yachts 16 Sep 2021 18:01 UTC October 27-31, 2021

High-volume design pioneers Horizon Yachts will debut a voluminous E81 model alongside two Power Catamaran (PC) models and several Fast Displacement (FD) Series yachts including a brand new FD80, an FD87 Skyline and a tri-deck FD92 at the 2021 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 27th through 31st.

The Horizon showcase will be located in the Red Zone, F Dock, Slips 600-606.

Horizon Yachts will once again present an enviable selection of yachts at this year's show, including the debuting high-volume version of its ever-popular E Series motor yacht.

The brand new E81 model features a streamlined exterior profile that defines the E Series atop a beamy and voluminous hull. While a four-stateroom configuration is standard, the E81 on display has been customized with three staterooms including a full-beam master suite and an office/library. It is also the first E81 to feature an enclosed skylounge configuration. The yacht's open-plan layout accommodates an expansive salon with a galley and country kitchen outfitted in two-toned white/silver oak with light quartz surfaces and contemporary accents. The spacious deck areas offer two bars with dining, with additional entertaining and lounging on the foredeck.

Also appearing at the show is a brand new FD80 Skyline, a model that has carved out a niche within the Cor D. Rover-designed FD Series among active owners who appreciate its build quality, fourstateroom layout and ample deck areas for lounging and entertaining. Built for a first-time owner, this latest FD80 features an enclosed skylounge configuration with a full-beam master stateroom on the main deck and three guest cabins on the lower deck, with crew quarters for four and a beach club situated aft. The bright interior is highlighted by expansive windows and light anegre wood with walnut accents, while plentiful deck areas span the spacious aft and boat decks to the foredeck with sunpad and U-shaped seating with dinettes.

One of the most popular models in the FD Series, the FD87 epitomizes the mid-range yacht with its customizable layout and multi-functional amenities. Accommodating 10 guests in a four- or fivestateroom layout that includes an on-deck master suite, the FD87 packs a tremendous amount of useable space into a 23' 3" beam. Specified in the Skyline (enclosed bridge) configuration, the FD87 on display showcases a high-volume interior with numerous options for outdoor entertainment, from the foredeck lounging area to the beach club and hi/lo swim platform.

Rounding out the Horizon Yachts showcase is the tri-deck FD92, a model derived from one client's request for both an enclosed skylounge and an open flybridge. Offering a five stateroom layout with an on-deck master stateroom, crew quarters and a beach club, the FD92 features a voluminous interior with an open-plan salon with dayhead aft, and formal dining and galley amidships. Ingenious amenities are incorporated throughout the triple-level yacht, from the convertible coffee/dining table on the aft deck and convertible dining table/breakfast bar within the interior to the wireless charging stations throughout.

Exterior areas are plentiful on the FD92, whose tri-deck design allows for a helm, L-shaped seating, sunpad and a bar equipped with a fridge and icemaker to be positioned on the uppermost deck. The boat deck aft houses a fully equipped bar with stools, icemaker and refrigeration, while the large Jacuzzi tub with its own bar counter and stools can be covered to serve as an additional sunpad. A tender or two jet skis can be stowed furthest aft, and replaced with lounge seating when launched.

Another inviting exterior area has been designed for the foredeck, which features a U-shaped dinette and a sunpad with atmosphere lighting and optional shade system.

Two brand new Horizon PowerCats will highlight the Horizon Power Catamaran display at the show. The recently launched PC60 showcases an open salon layout with two large staterooms in the portside hull and the master suite occupying the starboard, while the brand new PC52 offers an inviting and open layout with a galley aft, salon forward configuration, an open flybridge and spacious guest quarters comprised of a master, queen and twin in the hulls.
