Dennison Berwick and his boat (Oceans Five) recently arrived in Tanzania after a single-handed, 5400nm solo passage across the Indian Ocean from Thailand. It is from this exotic location that he will present the lessons he has learned along the way.
Dennison Berwick is a marine mechanic and creator of the Marine Diesel Basics project - visual guides to marine diesel systems. He is currently working to complete the second book in the Marine Diesel Basics series - How Things Work and Installation Guidelines. The book already has 460 pages and 1200 drawings. Publication is planned for May 2022.
Dennison lives aboard Oceans Five, his third sailboat, and is now anchored in northern Tanzania.
This will be a Virtual Club Night, on the Zoom platform. All BCA members will receive an invitation with links to the Zoom meeting and login details. If you are not a member (or if you did not receive the email) and would like to attend, please email Heather Marshall, Vancouver Speakers Watchkeeper, for details.
