We are a family friendly club where the emphasis is on relaxation and having fun and where owning a boat is not essential.

The Lake District Boat Club organizes an annual programme of yacht and day-boat racing during the season and boasts an enviable full social calendar – The club premises are situated centrally on the shore of Windermere, the largest area of fresh water in the Lake District National Park.

This is truly a stunningly beautiful setting with views from the club of the lake and surrounding fells. We offer the perfect solution to those interested in sailing or motor boating who are looking for a friendly atmosphere in which to enjoy their time both on and off the water.
