Are you going James?

Or do you want me to think up an excuse for you?

I'll start now, it's too wet, it's too dry, it's too hot, it's too cold, it's too windy, it's not windy enough, wife's birthday, kids birthday, parents birthday, grandparents birthday, work, yachting, on holiday, kids horse show, shoving s##t out of the stables or the dog eat my entry form etc etc etc.

Feel free to use one of the above or use one of your own.

Or if you are sailing, have a great time( no sarcasm intended this time)

I have a pass - full day, all to myself, for selfish pursuits.

If it's too cold Ill just go to Draycote and warm myself by Dave's radiator

It won't be too hot, but if it is, then I'll go for a bike ride.

it's too windy then I'd keep going on the A34 - boards on roof.

If it's not windy enough, then I'll troll Fuller on Facebook from the car park of a McDonald's using free wifi whilst eating cheeseburgers.

Yourself? Daring to try 'open water' as part of your new year sailing mix?

I guess at a mere 103 kilos you could reasonably say that you were otherwise engaged in training up for the Finn you so desire as an excuse for the no show.

Not during the winter. I like to be within 10 meters of the bank at all times so I don't have to bother wearing a wet suit.
Will do the British moth national s in the summer, if I haven't sold it by then. Fingers crossed

I'd love a Finn - it was my go to boat after (before) I sold the Solo, then I did the calculations on a new one and got bum clenchingly parsimonious.... I'll take a swerve on the unimaginative gold Rolex and get one one day.

You'd not need a new one, they are so well built. But then I think you have a problem with pre-owned, don't you...

I suspect not, looking at the entry list for both fleets.  There are some very good sailors entered in aeros That have beaten me in other classes! where as the zeros have Jimbo, peakster and me!  Hardly the UKs finest! (No offence boys).

I don't have any problem being beaten by better sailors, I never have. Wink LOL

Not a problem, but I get too much pleasure from the new boat thing... It's a wholly positive thing about fresh plastic, rather than anti-used boats.
