With the annoucement of the new London Boat Show at Earls Court from 1-10 December 2007, we wanted to find out which boat show you are most likely to visit. Feel free to add your comments on each of the shows!

Difficult - London Boat Show, simply because its easy to get there. I live in SW london so Earls Court is very easy, and Excel I can easyly get to, avoiding Ken's theiving zone aka the CC zone. But I always feel that it should be called the Yacht Show. Sure there are dinghies but it seems as though its an 'add-on'. The dinghy show is far better, but its a pig to get to.

100% correct on both counts.

Whatever happened to Pickett's Lock? Went there once, as I remember - you don't need to penetrate quite so far into the People's Republic of London as for Ally Pal.

Why oh why do any of them need to be in London.  If you dont need water (Ally Pally) then move it to a more central location like the NEC. Easy motorway access and nearer to those of us who dont live in the home counties.

There is life outside London you know.

Who really cares when the Yacht shows are? The only show worth seeing is 'The Dinghy Show'. Now I've moved oop north I agree it should be more central but I'd hate for it to lose it's Sailing Club atmosphere.

I like wandering around the yachts, I enjoy pretty much every kind of sailing. I'd like to see more dinghies, but not necessarily less of other things. As for which show, I'll almost certainly go to the Dinghy Show as it's what really interests me, but I'll probably got the the Southampton show as well as I live there!

"There is life outside London you know."

Yes. That's why you have the option of voting for Southampton.
