Don't believe so. One of the others included with the report (captioned 'Mark Room') was taken a few secs later and shows no signs of problems.

Considering that I was having to photograph from the shore - or at least end of jetties - I was pleased with what I got. The leeward mark was close in and I was able to get a bearable light angle.

I can't recall having many Laser sheet snags on the fast whippy gybes, more often on the lazy and mediums.

That kinda gives me an idea for a thread: "What went wrong" - a picture is posted of the unfortunates once the situation is past retrieval, folk can then post what they think went wrong and then a couple of days later a couple of lead up shots are posted. I do have some photo sequences like that.

on reflection though, the way the net, and this forum is these days, rather than light hearted fun/education I had in mind, it would just turn into a "mock the afflicted" session, which I don't much care for.
