I have pics of a bonito being sailed taken this year.  I would publish, but since it's her indoors sailing it I would certainly be damned!
the same, but different...

I noticed it and drew two conclusions

1)It was for ironic effect.
2)You were typical of the youf of today.

Tell me please it wasn't both.

Sadly I can't make it to Hunts, Nessa, but I'd love to have a play in the Bonito one day, really to see how she compares to the Minisail.

GRF no I pride myself with mostly being able to type and spell propebly
Much more 'brain thinking two steps in front of where the fingers are typing'.....

And yes, I was definitely being ironic, no doubt

The Bonito was a bigger boat with a bigger sail and was a little faster as a result. Neither were great. I sailed a Bonito for a couple of seasons as a teenager, and to be honest the guy that won was usually the chap who had leaked less. The hulls continually flexed and split, so it wasn't uncommon to barely be able to drag them up the slipway at the end of a race as they were so full of water. Lasers killed them off, thank God.

Clearly that bloke has lost a contact lens...

But it has to be said, her indoors loves hers because it is stable, roomy and has a high boom.
Is he being sick?

"If it looks right it is right" is a good enough maxim for me.
Like some other things - sailing is more enjoyable when you do it with someone else

no, I think you'll find that "prize" currently being cherished by a grumpy swiss bloke who is now the proud owner of two very large hulls + 1 set of spars worth of carbon fibre and some very big, very american (ahem swiss) 3DL sails, all of which it turns out are no match at all for three hulls worth + 1 very big set of over grown spars worht of carbon....
Feeling sorry for vegans since it became the latest fad to claim you are one
