Over the last few days the World ARC fleet have been exploring the island of San Cristobal including the local provided tours to snorkelling and wildlife sites on the northern side of this most easterly Galapagos Island. The World ARC Tour takes crews to see and enjoy the main attraction of this area – Kicker Rock, which is famous for its spectacular bird life on high rise cliffs and sea life that lurks below including turtles, fish, rays and a variety of sharks. When weather allows, a drift snorkel with the current through the impressive gap of the rocks gets crews up close and personal to the Galapagos sea life.

Every evening, the Miconia run nightly happy hours for crews to gather and share stories of their equatorial crossing but also planning together the next following weeks over a welcomed cold cocktail.

Boats have now started their movements in between the different islands, and half of the fleet is now underway or exploring Puerto Villamil on Isabela.

After maintenance issues in Panama SY Selene is now underway to the Galapagos with an ETA for the 27th of February.

The World ARC fleet will than gather again in Santa Cruz with enough time to provision and refuel, along with the programme organised for this island before the start of the Leg 4 from Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz on the 28th February.
