Island Sailing Club Tuesday Evening Series - Race 16

by Rod Nicholls, Race Officer 15 Aug 2018 18:21 UTC 14 August 2018

Week 16 of the 18 week series saw a low turnout with many crews on holiday or recovering from Lendy Cowes Week.

With the wind at 16 to 20 knots from the south west and a flood tide all classes had two good beats before returning home and a little wet.

In Class 1 the Fast Cruisers, Steve Horne recorded his first win of the season in Jambo. Class 2 also saw a first win for Bob Littherland in Twickenham Fandango. Two more weeks racing of the series before the final race "The Bang and go back Race".

On Tuesday 4th September.
