Car hire is inexpensive and we enjoy sightseeing. Marina de Cala del Sole has to be one of the safest marinas in Sicily.

The Med has experienced some huge storms this winter, including snow in Athens and on the Turkish south coast. A number of marinas on the Italian coast have been badly damaged.
