In excess of twenty separate events throughout the UK will be supported by Marlow Ropes, its ambassadors and sponsored sailors this summer.

Running until mid-September, the team at Marlow Ropes will be up and down the country attending a range of regattas providing awards as well as technical assistance and advice, performing rig-checks and delivering its popular Rope Show workshops.

James Crossley, Marlow's youth ambassador in the Topper class will be competing in the Topper Nationals at Largs Sailing Club from August 3 - 9 where Marlow will also be holding rope-show and splicing workshops.

The Optimist Nationals, supported by the leading rope manufacturer, takes place at WPNSA at the end of July with dedicated Opi Rope-Shows and rig-checks, while Marlow's female youth ambassadors, Emily Mueller and Florence Brellisford, take the helm at the 29er Nationals at Pwllheli Sailing Club on August 6 - 11.

In Scotland at the Laser Nationals, the RYA P3 Marlow ambassador Sam Whaley will be flying the flag for Marlow Ropes, while the Poole regatta in August will feature Marlow's sponsored Vendee Globe sailor, Pip Hare with her 60ft IMOCA Superbijou.

A highlight of the season is the Firefly Nationals at Lyme Regis Sailing Club on August 16, when the class celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Marlow Ropes Cup. In the same month, Marlow will also be providing technical support for sailors competing in the Cowes Regatta with the Marlow RIB, offering off-shore expertise to sailors in need.

David Mossman, UK Sales Manager, Marlow Ropes said: "We are calling out to all sailors to come and meet us this season - take advantage of our technical knowledge and expertise, as we are always happy to help.

"We aim to support sailors from grass roots level up to international competitors. From sponsorships and awards, to education workshops and technical assistance as well as off-shore assistance at Cowes week, the Marlow Ropes team will be at a club near you."
