Voting has just opened for World Sailing’s Rolex Sailor of the Year Awards. Mat Belcher and Will Ryan are in contention, and you can help. Your efforts count, as 50% of the weighting comes form the public’s vote. You can cast your vote anytime by going here.

It has been a magnificent year for the Dynamic Duo, who in addition to the Men’s 470, have also been first and second in the 2018 Etchells World Championship staged out of Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron in Brisbane.

In the 12 months taken into consideration, the pair have also won the 470 World Championship, the Ready Steady Tokyo Olympic test event, and the Hempel World Cup Series regatta, all at Enoshima, and all back to back.

In addition to that, Belcher and Ryan won the 470 European Championship, and also the entire Hempel World Cup Series for that year.

So help them win by making your vote count, and you can do it as many times as you like, by going here.

It all closes on Monday, so jump to it.

Thank you.
