Musto gathered their team of champion athletes on the beach in Le Havre, France, to celebrate the start of the legendary double-handed race - the Transat Jacques Vabre.

Team Musto champion athletes have 25 previous races already under their belts, including a win for Jérémie Beyou and two top spots for Pascal Bidégorry, as well as first-timers to the race.

Three British sailors feature in the Team Musto TJV line-up. Sam Davies will be crossing the start line for the sixth time, skippering the IMOCA 60 Team Initiatives Coeur, with her co-skipper Paul Meilhat (FRA); Sam Goodchild, on his fourth TJV, will be racing the Leyton Class 40 with Fabien Delahaye; and Will Harris is the co-skipper for his first TJV, to Boris Herrmann (GER), who is aiming to become the first German to compete in the Vendée Globe, onboard Malizia II - Yacht Club de Monaco.

Charlie Enright (USA), the skipper of the first team to announce their entry into the 2021 The Ocean Race, is lining up for his first Transat Jacques Vabre and has selected two-time previous winner of the race, Pascal Bidégorry (FRA) as his co-skipper.

Current Vendée Globe champion, Armel Le Cléac'h (FRA) will be co-skipper on Banque Populaire X, with skipper Clarisse Crémer (FRA). This is Crémer's first TJV and will help her prepare for next year's Vendée Globe. Jérémie Beyou (FRA), who won the IMOCA 60 class in the TJV in 2011, will be racing Charal alongside Christopher Pratt (FRA).

Nick Houchin, Head of Marketing at Musto said: "To see this spectacular line-up of exceptional talent makes us incredibly proud of the Team Musto ambassador family. We will all be following the race closely and we look forward to welcoming them safely into Salvador de Bahia in Brazil."
