XTX Powerclutch
Drawing on experience in mechanical and textile product design, the new XTX Softgrip Clutch uses new technology and refines its application to offer mid load rope holding in a lightweight, compact device.
Using an innovative new braided 'softgrip' technology to engage and hold a loaded rope, the XTX benefits from being 'kind' to the rope cover with a gentle and controlled release by an integrated retractable toggle, with innovative push button activation ensuring finger-tip on/off control.
- Ultra-lightweight mid-load rope holding
- Optimised SOFTGRIP braid with high-performance braid anchor technology
- Gentle on rope covers - increase the lifecycle of your ropes
- Neat, retracting toggle for fingertip control of clutching power
- Controlled and consistent release across full range of loads
- Push-button clutch activation with lock-open indicator
- Full enclosed body protects against accidental release
- Small footprint and very low profile with no handle rotation space required
- Simple, versatile installation - two fasteners for deck, bulkhead, rig or tunnel mounting
- Remote release capability
- Easy set-up, no performance tuning required
- On-deck access for cleaning or replacing SOFTGRIP diameter changes
XTR Powerclutch
A fresh new design in rope holding to compliment modern deck designs and styles, the XTR Powerclutch has been reengineered to further boost its performance on small diameter ropes, in a compact small footprint. Simple removal of the jaws allows for on deck maintenances and servicing.
- 'Reactive Clutching' - Rope holding is consistent and responsive across the full diameter range
- Release is smooth and progressive for maximum control
- Significant rope holding improvement on the latest small diameter rope types
- Ultra lightweight alloy/composite construction within compact footprint
- New handle offers improved feel and confidence in operation
- Improved mechanism geometry boost clutching power and reduces 'take-up'
- Reactor cam module is easily removed for on deck cleaning and servicing
- Single units only, easily upgradable from multiple XTS/XCS with common fixing spacings
- Side mount versions available
- One-person installation either top mounted or through bolted
