Ocean Safety's February 2020 Open Day and Workshop © Ocean Safety

On the 15th and 16th February, Ocean Safety opened their doors to the public to give boating people the opportunity to learn more about their safety equipment.

Ocean Safety's event included product demonstrations and a chance to deploy some flares. Managing Director Alistair Hackett presented some informative talks while representatives attended from Ocean Signal and Icom UK whose lifesaving products are distributed by Ocean Safety.

The RNLI was also present at the event.

More than 130 visitors attended the open workshop, many bringing their liferafts and lifejackets to be serviced, and taking the chance of seeing them inflated, something they hope not to have to do too often at sea. Have a look at the highlights on our video from the two day event.

For more information about getting safety equipment serviced during the winter or general advice please contact Ocean Safety.
