Coronavirus lockdown on board in Spain

Annette & Steve Moran, s/v Cordelia, have been under Covid-19 lockdown in Spain for 37 days now.

We are in Alcaidesa Marina where two other boat owners started a marina community group called Alcaidesa Marina Amigos and spent hours organising local businesses. like greengrocers, bakers, fishmongers, butchers, pharmacy, wine & spirit, to initiate deliveries to our boats, all so we don't have to leave the marina. It's a fantastic venture to be part of, especially when Spain is one of the worst-hit countries in the world of the Coronavirus.

The local newspaper and radio station have captured the story of our aim to support local businesses at this time. We didn't make the front page, that honour goes to Debbie but we did make page 3!
