Steve, owner of Steve White Rigging, shares years of experience in this two-hour, online course.

Steve will cover the following subjects:

  • Preparation for a long cruise including, inspections (what to look for and how to be proactive)
  • Upgrades needed to ensure smooth sailing; and
  • Repair supplies that are essential to handle the unexpected.
He will also address maintenance on your rigging including furling, standing and running rigging, as well as winches.

Though we all try to prevent the unexpected, Steve will discuss repair techniques on the fly. Experience talks as Steve relates stories, their implications, how to be proactive to prevent unnecessary challenges, and what to do when it does.
