The Coast Guard Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to strengthening the Coast Guard community and service by supporting members and families, announced today the 16th Annual Tribute to the United States Coast Guard from our Nation's Capital will be held in a virtual format October 29, 2020, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern.

The 5th Annual Texas Salutes the Coast Guard will be held November 12, 2020, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Central, honoring Port Houston.

Two of the cornerstone events in the Foundation's calendar, the Annual Tribute in D.C. and the Texas Salute will both be presented this year in a virtual format. This new platform will let the Foundation continue to honor and celebrate the men and women of the Coast Guard, while allowing supporters to come together in a careful and creative way. The events will feature digital exhibitor booths, special guest speakers, live remote feeds from Coast Guard units and much more.

"We are grateful, during this challenging year, for the continued partnership of our supporters," said Susan Ludwig, president, Coast Guard Foundation. "Our events play such an important role in fulfilling our mission of supporting Coast Guard members and their families."
