Sydney Hobart - Double, double, toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble...

We ran the original article, Double trouble? back on August 3, 2020. It seems terribly prudent to go back to that piece once more, now that the double-handers have learned of their fate after entries closed.

At one stage the double-handers accounted for 33 vessels in the 2020 Sydney Hobart fleet, but amounted to just 22 when entries closed last Thursday. Could it be that the Westcoaster might now get a flurry of late double-handed entries for their race? At least the ORCV will allow them to challenge for the top prize, and you can read all about that right here in Decloaking Klingon Bird of Prey to Port.
