There’s always a sense of transcendence whenever anything new is created. We experienced this feeling countless times when we built the new Bavaria C65. With a total length of 19.45 m, it’s the biggest sailing yacht ever developed and built by Bavaria Yachts.
We’re incredibly proud of it and we look forward to being able to present it to you soon at the world premiere on 20 January 2018 at boot in Düsseldorf.
Any enjoyment is of course greater when you share it. That’s why we would like to invite you to discover the first part of our making-of series, featuring exclusive insights into the creation of our new superyacht at the shipyard – the Bavaria C65.
Because the best is only just good enough
Bavaria Yachts’ ambition is always to build the best yacht in each class and to set benchmarks. The new Bavaria C65 is a masterpiece of our engineering expertise and the sum total of all our experience in boat building.
Discover what sailing is really about
A perfect hull shape with a steep stem, a long waterline of just under 18 m and a draught of 3.5 m all combine to guarantee safe and secure handling on the water. And a 6.5 ton keel provides the necessary upright impetus.
Developing and manufacturing a 65-foot sailing yacht is like producing a cinematic blockbuster. At the beginning you just have a rough idea, followed by sketches, then a storyboard and finally a finished screenplay. And then there’s the filming itself. Because we love our trade as much as we do, every day of filming was a success and we hope you enjoy taking a look behind the scenes:
