Leading manufacturer of marine digital displays and gauges, Veethree Technologies, has begun the year with two new appointments, further building on significant investment and expansion in 2019.

The global experts in CAN gauge and display technologies have appointed new Business Development Manager Jon Newman and Business Development Executive Laurence Jenkins.

Jon comes from a background of electronics and software and joins the team with almost a quarter-century of sales experience, bringing diverse skills and flexibility along with his adaptable industry experience. Laurence joins with five years of sales of experience in the technology sector.

The new recruits are joining at an exciting time for the company, formerly CANtronik, which last year united with the Veethree brand, a global group of companies with more than 1000 employees across four continents.

Since becoming part of a group company, Veethree Technologies has invested significantly in training and growing the team, with new hires including engineers, a graphic designer and additions to the sales team. The company have six vacancies to fill in 2020 as demand for their products increases. This has been spurred on by new products in CAN Gauges, Level Senders and a range of Sensors.

The company has also recently launched two innovative new products - the DAME Design Award-nominated full round touch TFT three-inch engine monitor display for the marine market, and the 7-inch display T7i, the largest in the company's touch screen range.

Neil Campbell, General Manager at Veethree Technologies said: "We are delighted to welcome Jon and Laurence to our team at an exciting time for our business, and off the back of an outstanding 2019 in which we saw a 28% increase in turnover."

"With them on board, we will continue to work towards further expansion and business development goals, with plans for the coming year including new staff, new customers and business growth, and bringing to market yet more innovative products, and potentially new and improved premises as well."

Business Development Manager Jon Newman said: "I am very pleased to have joined Veethree at this time, and to be helping to deliver the company's strategic vision for growth and development over the next five years and beyond."

Business Development Executive Laurence Jenkins said: "This new role represents an exciting opportunity, and I look forward to opening up new avenues into the market as well as nurturing existing client relationships."
