The OCC is opening its Pacific Crossing Facebook Group to nonmembers.

Many cruisers in the islands of the Pacific are facing difficult decisions about staying put in hurricane-risk places or heading for such as New Zealand and Australia. Sharing information and discussing options is vital for all cruisers to make sensible decisions and keep themselves and their boats safe.

Consequently, the Ocean Cruising Club is opening its Pacific Crossing Facebook group to cruisers who are not OCC members.

If any cruising or boat-owning non-members in the Pacific would like to participate, simply go to the OCC Pacific Crossing Facebook Group and click on 'Join'. You will be asked some questions to confirm that you are a bona fide cruiser/boat owner.

Please note that membership of this group is solely for active cruisers and boatowners in the Pacific Ocean.

Stay safe.
