The Ocean Cruising Club NE USA SSB Net

The Ocean Cruising Club NE USA SSB net is operated by OCC members but is open for participation by any cruisers in the area with SSB.

This net normally operates from 1 July through mid-September and, subject to propagation, covers the area from Nova Scotia to Cape Cod. The net will start today and will operate daily Monday through Saturday at 0700 local time (EDT) or 1100 UTC. It will broadcast on 6227 kHz USB with an alternate frequency of 4036 kHz USB.

The purpose of the net is to connect cruisers in the NE area, to deal with any medical or other emergencies, to provide and exchange local information of interest to cruisers and to encourage social contact between cruisers, subject to applicable Covid-19 restrictions.
