On the 7th October the International Paint Poole Regatta Committee hosted a sponsors lunch at the prestigious Royal Motor Yacht Club in Sandbanks. Just two weeks later, all the potential sponsors present at the lunch have confirmed their commitment to help organise another great regatta for sailors across the Early May Bank Holiday 2022.

Attendees from International Paint, Haven Knox-Johnston, Poole Harbour Commissioners, Coleman Marine, Salcombe Gin, Savills and The Knot Agency were briefed on the exciting plans for 2022 including the large number of racing classes signed up and the evening socials being organised. The spectacular location overlooking the panoramic view of Poole Harbour added to the atmosphere and built anticipation for the event.

John O'Donnell representing title sponsors International Paint said, "Poole Regatta is one of the 'not to be missed' events in the UK and Irish racing calendar, bringing sailors together in a great location to a very well-organized event. With our advanced coatings technology helping many of the crews jostle for line honours, it is fantastic to have the opportunity to support the racing community on the water as well with our continued sponsorship for over twenty years. We look forward to seeing everyone on the water next year."

Andrew Pearce, International Paint Poole Regatta President added, "To have all of our previous sponsors sign up again for 2022, with the new addition of Salcombe Gin is fantastic. The hard work of the committee and combined yacht clubs of Poole to organise a memorable weekend of racing would be for nothing without the vital assistance of our sponsors supporting the event. We are hugely grateful for the long-term partnerships which we have developed over the years. We consider our sponsors part of the regatta family and I am certain our competitors do as well."

The International Paint Poole Regatta runs across the weekend of the 30th April - 2nd May 2022. For further information on how you can get involved visit www.pooleregatta.co.uk
