Amel Cup Med 2022: 3 days of navigation and sharing between AMEL shipyards and their customers

It was important to the AMEL shipyards to be able to organize a gathering of AMEL sailing yachts again.
For this 2022 edition, the island of Porquerolles was chosen as the base for three days of navigation and sharing under a sun-drenched land and the pristine clear blue seas of the Mediterranean. 12 crews met to race together, in a very jovial spirit, in order to live great moments of discovery and exchanges in a festive atmosphere.
AMEL 60's, AMEL 50's, and AMEL 55's were thus able to set sail. To each his quality and his strategy! Be it with family or friends, every team was to discover or rediscover Porquerolles, this island with multiple faces!

The vision of the Amel team
The AMEL CUP MED 2022 was a real success! We can congratulate ourselves on the great teamwork that was achieved. Everyone made the most of their talents, both in the search for locations and partners and in the preparation of the courses (around 35 nautical miles in total between Porquerolles, the Fourmigues islands, the Grand Ribaud island, and Brégançon), the communication and the support of the owners. The enthusiasm was permanent and the result of this successful gathering is our best reward. Seeing these 12 beautiful yachts sailing together is a magnificent sight and give us great pride. To share such moments whith the fifty or so owners and their passionate and engaging guests is invaluable. We are ready to repeat the experience next year, as it is the best opportunity for the shipyard to animate its community of customers and also to show the playful character of AMEL yachts.

"It was a great idea having the AMEL CUP this year and a great pleasure to be part of it.
The event was very well organized by the Amel team, the regattas were challenging and technical and the entertaining program was also well appreciated.
It was fun, intense, and immensely enjoyable days. We also had the opportunity to meet other Amel owners, exchange experiences and travel suggestions was fantastic! And of course, winning the Cup was another surprise!

"The AMEL CUP and me....
I have just finished my first year with our new boat, an Amel60, and I thought I was going to go for a regular regatta with other 12 boats: "It will only be for 3 days, in Porquerolles, you will love it, and if you don't like the regatta, we can spend some time with our crew, by ourselves. Come on Elisa.... let's go!" this was what my husband used to repeat me to encourage me to participate...
And so we headed to Porquerolles.
These "only three days" were the best holidays of my last few years...
