Prize for best performing female helm at the Simply Blue Sovereign's Cup 2023

Simply Blue Group Sovereign's Cup Regatta Director, Anthony Scannell, is delighted to announce that there will be a prize for the best performing female helm at this year's Simply Blue Group Sovereign's Cup in Kinsale. The Regatta runs from June 21st to 24th 2023.

Following on from Irish Sailing's WoW initiative, it has been decided to honour the Best Performing Female Helm across all fleets. This is a new prize in the Regatta is an exciting addition to the event.

Entries for the event are now over 50. With Carrickfergus SC to Baltimore SC and almost every club in between is represented. See www.kyc.ie/sovereigns-cup-2023-race-documents One of the earliest entries was Kinsale Yacht Club's Under 25's J24, Kinsailor. Following their amazing successes in 2022, we look forward to seeing them compete in home waters.

The official launch of the Regatta will take place in Kinsale Yacht Club on Friday 24th March so watch this space.
