Live Ocean Racing had a mixed day at Foiling Week 2023 in Lake Garda, Italy for day three of the ETF26 Series Regatta.

Live Ocean Racing are now lying 4th overall, just one point back from 3rd.

Liv Mackay reports that conditions were cloudy and rainy with 'super random' breeze that died away as the afternoon went on, seeing racing cut short.

"We had two races, and a third race that got abandoned half-way through," says Mackay.

The first race of the day is now the discard on Live Ocean Racing's scorecard; "In the first race we were doing okay and then at the last bottom mark a bad decision saw us end up last."

The team picked it up from there to cross 3rd in the next race and start well in the third of the day, however they didn't get to convert that due to a health and safety technicality on shore.

"The third race we started, and we were winning. Then there wasn't an ambulance onshore, so they had to abandon the race. By the time they started again the wind had fully died and there was no more racing for the day."

Mackay is positive about the final day; "Start at midday tomorrow, and five more races. So that could change a lot."

Entreprises du Morbihan (FRA) still holds the top spot at the end of Day 3, now 6pts ahead of the chasing pack. BlueShift Team (FRA) leap into 2nd place overall after a great day, with Team Pro (FRA) in 3rd just ahead of Live Ocean Racing.

Tomorrow's schedule includes five short course races.
