The multihull and monohull line honours winners of the 44th Rolex Middle Sea Race have been confirmed.

Monohull: Arriving back in Malta at 01:20:56 CEST this morning, the 100-ft (30.78m) maxi Leopard 3 (MON) claimed monohull line honours. Finishing in an elapsed time of 2 days, 12 hours, 50 minutes and 56 seconds, Leopard 3 sealed a third line honours success at the Rolex Middle Sea Race following victories in 2009 and 2022. Skippered by Chris Sherlock, Leopard 3 finished a little under two hours ahead of her nearest rival Bullitt. The monohull race record remains the time set by Comanche in 2021 of 1 day, 16 hours, 17 minutes and 50 seconds.

Multihull: Arriving in Malta at 13:10:42 CEST on Monday 23 October, Alexia Barrier's MOD70 Limosa from France claimed multihull line honours. Her elapsed time was 2 days, 2 hours, 10 minutes and 42 seconds. As with the monohull title, the current multihull race record was set in the 2021 edition - the finish time of 1 day, 9 hours, 29 minutes and 28 seconds registered by the MOD70 Argo.

The 606-nautical mile (1,122 kilometres) Rolex Middle Sea Race, launched in 1968, is organized by the Royal Malta Yacht Club (RMYC). Rolex has partnered both the race and the RMYC since 2002.

A fleet of 110 yachts from 26 nations are contesting the 2023 Rolex Middle Sea Race. A wrap-up news release, covering the race’s main prize of overall victory on corrected time, will be available on Saturday 28 October.
