Pixel sur Mer and B&G®, the world's leading sailing electronics manufacturer, today announced their partnership.

An agreement to combine autopilot, controller, and display technologies from B&G® with Pixel sur Mer's autopilot expertise and technologies to develop a unique solution for the offshore, grand prix segment.

"After our longstanding relationship with Pixel sur Mer for the last 20 years it was a natural progression to formally integrate our products to provide the best performing autopilot solution to the offshore performance sailing market", said Matt Eeles - Product Director, Digital Systems of Navico Group.

"We both support the single-handed race market having supplied autopilot systems to past Vendee Globe winners and we are thrilled to provide the latest generation of foiling race boats with a solution deriving from our combined legacy and expertise in sailing electronics."

Driven from Pixel sur Mer's Exocet technology, the single system solution utilizes B&G's H5000 pilot system and integrates seamlessly with B&G pilot controllers. The one-of-a-kind system provides optimal steering performance and safe modes along with backup and failsafe settings.

"[...] our ambition is not only to reach a new technological level, but also to make these innovations accessible to the entire offshore performance sailing market." said Jean-François Cuzon, CEO and Fonder of Pixel sur Mer.

"The Pixel sur Mer team is proud to announce this partnership, which is the logical continuation of our collaboration with B&G".

"Over the last few years, the work of our design office has led to the deployment of major innovations that have improved the performance and safety of autopilot systems on ocean racing boats. Through this partnership, our ambition is not only to reach a new technological level, but also to make these innovations accessible to the entire offshore performance sailing market."
