"The best boat I ever owned" is the primary thing we hear from ISO sailors at the Dinghy Show. Now hear this - "the best boat I ever owned" - just got better!

The ISO Class Association has pioneered the build of a brand new ISO Mk 2 ready for the Show, stand L24.

  • Epoxy glass construction
  • Only 70kg hull weight, same as a 29eR, the ISO just got younger - it's a boat for everyone!!
  • 30kg lighter than the ISO Mk1 !!!!
  • Stiffer due to updated internal structure
  • Updated deck layout making it even easier to sail - fully equipped with Ronstan deck hardware
  • A stable boat among asymmetric skiffs
  • Simple control systems = jump in and sail, no need for lots of complicated adjustments
  • Inclusive:
    • All ages - sailed by 16 year olds to 75+
    • Mixed crews - female / male, adult / young person
    • Light weight to heavy crews, 50Kg to 95Kg
  • Prices - beyond competitive
  • The same grin factor 10 - free with every boat
  • ISO Class Association support, coaching, events - and fun, fun, fun

40+ years on and the original boats are going strong with many being raced in clubs around the UK and a big fleet in Europe. The 2024 ISO Euro cup will be held in Riva del Garda, the mecca of sailing, with boats from the UK, Italy, Holland and other European countries.

Make it a day out to come and take a look at the ISO-2 at the RYA Dinghy Show, Farnborough, 24th and 25th February 2024.
