RBFF joins forces with SFC to increase participation in fishing and boating © Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation

The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF), whose mission is to increase participation in recreational fishing and boating, along with its consumer brand, Take Me Fishing™, today announced an integrated partnership with Sport Fishing Championship (SFC).

The alliance is designed to bring awareness to sportfishing fans and educate them on where, how, and when to fish and boat. www.takemefishing.org will be highlighted as a resource for SFC fans via season-long promotions on social media, and branded content during SFC tournament TV broadcasts. An instructional vignette featuring SFC talent showcasing offshore fishing tips and angler experiences will be a focal point of the joint storytelling.

The partnership was inspired by results from a 2023 SFC fan study conducted by Wasserman and SFC, revealing that many SFC loyalists don't currently fish.

North of the border this week, NMMA Canada took part in two regional meetings hosted by the Boating Ontario Association, an NMMA member and strategic regional provincial partner. The meetings provided a vital platform for BOA and the Canadian recreational boating industry to engage with the local boating community through educational sessions, networking opportunities and open forums for attendees to share their experiences and perspectives on pertinent issues facing recreational boating in Ontario.

More recognition for Brunswick (NYSE: BC). The world's largest recreational marine technology company has been named by Newsweek to its list of America's Most Trustworthy Companies for the second consecutive year. Of the thousands of companies considered for this honor, only 700 made the final list and Brunswick ranked among the top 12 companies within the Manufacturing and Industrial Equipment category. The award recognizes companies across three main public pillars of trust - customer trust, investor trust, and employee trust.

And another industry business, Parker Offshore, gains accolades from North Carolina Community Colleges. NC Community College System (NCCCS) has recognized Parker Offshore with the Pinnacle Award for Business of the Year. The award recognizes businesses demonstrating a partnership with the NCCCS through workforce development programs. These programs improve the lives of workers and the State of North Carolina. The NCCCS Pinnacle Award reinforces Parker's dedication and commitment to collaborating with Carteret Community College, enhancing workforce development, education, and economic growth across the state.

The 2024 Golden Opportunity Scholarship has been awarded to Amanda Holcroft. Presented by Golden Manufacturing and the Association of Marina Industries (AMI), the scholarship provides financial assistance to deserving marina industry professionals. Holcroft will attend an upcoming AMI Certified Marina Manager course for marina managers and operators. The AMI Training Institute has classified over 400 individuals with this distinction.

New appointees: IMTRA, the leading manufacturer and importer of quality solutions and products for the marine, energy and transportation markets, announced today the addition of two new team members: Connor Bailey, who has been hired as IMTRA's new Lighting Product Manager and Christian Ambrosi, who has taken on the role of Commercial Sales Support Specialist.

Bailey, as IMTRA's new Lighting Product Manager, will work directly with customers, supply partners and IMTRA's inside and outside sales team to bring forward new lighting offerings. He will also be directing marketing efforts to ensure that new and existing products garner more visibility with marine and commercial audiences. Ambrosi comes to IMTRA with experience as the general manager of a family-owned dive tourism operation in Curaçao, where he was responsible for maintaining a fleet of seven commercial dive boats. He holds an MBA, a 100-ton USCG license, and a technical cave diving certification, and is multilingual, speaking fluent Spanish and intermediate Dutch.

Keep involved,
